What we do
Our mission is to help people living with disabilities
learn valuable skills and find meaningful employment.
We develop skills in the workplace for people living with disabilities
We intentionally foster positive work environments where participants can thrive and make meaningful contributions.
Orange Basket Community Services is a not-for-profit creating job opportunities for people living with disabilities. We provide hands-on training and support with our mentorship program.
We commit to taking a person-centred approach and tailoring training programs to suit the goals of participants.
We are passionate about ensuring our participants find a role suited to their capacity.
Training and Mentoring
Orange Basket Community Services runs industry-related training such as neurodivergent first aid courses.
We also provide a 6-10 week mentoring program for people living with disabilities to gain and maintain employment. Mentoring can provide a participant with motivation and focus on the job, via direct and regular encouragement and feedback. Every person is different so the mentoring program and individual supports are tailored to what is applicable.
The outcomes of mentoring are many and varied, and can provide participants with a capacity-building report required for an upcoming NDIS review, or for the implementation of a behaviour support plan.
Orange Basket Community Services is an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE), providing employment for people living with disabilities who need significant support to work.
Conditions apply and applicants to be assed for suitability.

Our aim is not just to provide immediate work but to establish people on their career path, whether that be with Orange Basket or another business.
Our aim is to make participants as job-ready as they can be for open employment.
